As I alluded in my last check-in, I decided to change the direction in which my project is going. I decided to pursuit the topic of "life in quarantine." It is basically a portrait series of Alex just doing his thing during these times. It's meant to signify what the average American is going through right now. The pictures above are only some of the ones I have taken (and edited). Unfortunately, my Google Drive ran out of storage :( so I can't upload the pictures through there anymore. Like my previous vission, I will try to keep the series within 15-20 pictures, including 4 polaroids. I am interestd in adding a graphic design element to these. What I did above wasa a very lame attempt at doing something like so, but I am still trying to figure out a way to do it without taking away the focus from the image. Im thinking that the final product will be displayed as a collage rather than simply a slideshow.
From Seth-- many of your best photos from the series are posted above! Good work. Might I suggest that the digital manipulations could be more about color/value/etc.. than collage or other more extreme choices? I'd also highly recommend you show us the images as single picture planes and NOT as one big collage. If the imagery is jumbled together it will take away from the power of each photo.
