These are the two characters I started to digitally paint for my final I plan on cropping out the backgrounds in order to collage them on my own custom background.
From Seth-- Compelling imagery so far. I'll stress again, just like for the zine project, be sure to let YOUR digital brush have more power than filters. Also, I think back to your desert piece with the gunslinger character-- it proves imagery can hold more potential with original and sometimes daring expressive decisions. I'd suggest taking the warrior with the arrow and putting her in a different space/background. Show us something surprising that we don't already know. Same suggestion for the God of War character-- the background can be something atypical and surprising. That said, the most important thing is to limit your use of filters and let your brush and other tools dominate the end result.
