Taylor Jackson Second Zine Post
So far I've been playing around with iMovie and photoshop. I actually think I move over to some mobile app for when it comes to adding my pictures in a small video but I'm not too sure yet. I've also been trying to figure out whether I should retake some pictures or remove them completely. I'm starting to get the hang of photoshop but some things are still a little strange so I'm trying lol. For the most part I feel like this is going to be an interesting Zine lol
From Seth-- Interesting process, Taylor. I really like some of the new compositions that have more of a foreground to middleground to background distinction. That said, I think you should consider more digital manipulations (filters, image adjustments with color, value, etc.). Maybe even some digital painting or drawing on top of the images? Just a thought but I think it's worth taking some risks, just to see how it looks, in part because digital work is so easy to erase decisions that you don't like. Also, be sure that you're investing the full 8-9 hours per week. Looking forward to your next two posts. Thanks.
