For my final project, I would like to create a time-based video about how the campus looks now due to COVID-19 and the emotions that students that are still on campus present.
Since I am from California, I felt that it was safer for me to stay on campus for the rest of the semester instead of going back home, and I share this opinion with many students on campus. At the same time, we all share the fear of not being with our loved ones in these hard times. This brings out lots of emotions and I would like to show this in a video.
I would use mainly focal points to show students emotion on campus while at the same time using the color.
From Seth-- Excellent idea, Milca! I think you did so well with your zine, I'm excited to see you move forward with digital work. Have you ever made a video? Edited a video? Photoshop is a wonderful tool for basic video editing and manipulation. The top right scrolldown will allow you to change your workstation to motion. You will then see a timeline at the bottom. You can drag footage into the timeline and edit. I will be happy to help you. Just let me know. I think you should begin right away.
