These are the two pieces I've made since last week. I've been focusing more on nature and the colors in nature that I like. I've been going away from the "connection" idea I was doing before because I haven't had any inspiration/ideas for more pieces on that. I really only had the idea for the one piece I posted last week. The piece with the trees is inspired by my backyard and the colors of the sunset that has been happening every night for the past few weeks. The other piece is sort of nonobjective colors but inspired by the sky. I think next week I might try another nonobjective piece inspired by nature as well. I've sort of just been coming up with ideas as I go and trying to find inspiration around me in the things that bring me joy while being stuck in a house.

I really like the first image. The background of it is amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteKeely- These look so good! I like how well the colors blend with each other.
ReplyDeleteFrom SEth-- Very impressed with how these are progressing. I say this especially considering your relationship with handmade work vs. digital work. Keep it up. Excellent work.
ReplyDeleteFrom Carli-- I love the non objective piece. I think it really gives us the space to be nostalgic for certain time in our lives when we saw things that emitted those colors as auras or even in landscape. I think the space offered through the non objective piece also gives us a prompt to connect in our own way. Super cool!
