I redid my first image and worked on inverting the colors of the past and present and then distorting/overlapping the images. The hardest part is trying to get the two images to line up and to find matching images in order to do this. I platoon continuing this idea to a few other areas in the world.

From Seth-- Are you enjoying the result from these more than the first in-progress image? I really think this is working but I want to be sure you like the direction that it's going.
ReplyDeleteOne trick to line-up copies is just to lower the opacity of the layer on top, move and free transform, then match positioning.
I think it's going very well! There's a haunting and sophisticated feel to these. The sky in the Eiffel Tower image is incredible!
From Anastasia-I love the second image. I like your idea for this project and what you're doing with it. It looks great so far.
