I decided to put more effort into the computer lad than I maybe needed to, but I really wanted to emphasize that morph. I am still trying to figure out how the drinking pals will be situated "at the beginning" but other than that, I am good with these. I plan on inking then and I would typically leave it in black and white, that is how I do, but I feel like the appropriate thing would be to color them in. So I am going to crayon it up. I don't know yet what "skill we learned in class" I should use on these images though so I will figure it out, or take advice, which ever comes first. Sorry the pictures are darkish, had flash on and they still disappointed.
Personally in the last pic I want to called them Mr. Keg and Madam Demijohn with her basket. :3

I think all the effort you pit in to it was worth it. I've been staring at it for a few minutes now and just love the detail you put in.
ReplyDeleteFrom Seth: Skill you learned in class? Are you talking about the criteria to integrate at least one design concept into your final piece? There are plenty of design concepts that you learned. I'm really loving the characters but you really need to begin working in the color. Remember, using color theory is a requirement. Also, please use the negative space to maximize what you can do with the total compositions. For the final images, be sure to take high quality reproductions.
ReplyDeleteFrom Carli-- It looks like these are really good pieces that cold easily integrate color theory. The final work will be amazing. No stress :)
