From Seth-- Coleman, I think this has improved since last week but I'd encourage you to take more risks with color theory, especially with the broad areas of flat color. Think back to the color theory lecture to broken color and the gustav klimt example. You can google :Klimt Flower Garden to see it. Look at the dozens of analogous shifts of green to blue green the yellow green. The CYMK acrylic tubes are capable of making thousands of different colors and the gouache set is able to make even more. Try and push the sophistication of color as you move forward and remember to spend at least the 8-9 hours per week on this project. Eager to see your next two posts.
