It took me a while to finally envision an idea for this final project with the proposal I made, and decided to make it like a pop piece where the images I draw or find are going to be stacked up together to make the final piece. I decided to make a piece inspired by this musical artist and his song "Wild Flower" since the lyrics are really relatable to what is going on right now in this pandemic. So I found it it fit with my proposal idea of making an art piece of one of my favorite artist and to something that relates to right now. I will add the next steps of the process in the next check in.
From Seth-- Again, absolutely beautiful rendering! Remember, you must include some color in the this project to exploit color theory. Eager to see how you push the composition beyond just positive and negative shifts by activating the background space.
ReplyDeleteFrom Carli-- I think it will be cool to see what your color palette choices are especially when related to the song. I think we'll have to check it out to really get into the vibe of your project. Your palette always seems like such dreamy whimsy colors when you do bring in color. Love those of course! Maybe there will be some contrasting palettes as well :)
