Here is my #3 submission for the final project. I did not see Seth's first comment so I took his 1st comment and 2nd comment and did some changes and switches to this submission. I can add more and get more clips if I missed something or need another angle. For this video, I got more clips, zoomed in and zoomed out, switched clips around to where they were best, delete some, and put more closer shots of things in there.
From Seth-- Fantastic improvements! The TV scene and sandwich scene are much richer, I think. Do you like them better? If you are adding more clips, I think the make up sequence might improve with one or two close-ups, to rhythmically connect to the close-ups from other areas. I like that the camera gets closer to your face with the eye make-up but may a shot or two could be closer (composition dominated by the make-up tool or facial feature).
ReplyDeleteLast two suggestions-- you need to decide how you want this to end. It needs a softer ending considering the formal elements (like a gentle slow fade, or slow motion, or something like that) and it needs a more concerted conceptual ending. Show us impressive footage in the outdoor sequence that can ease us into conceptual ending. For example, maybe a close-up of your face, with the wind and the sun influencing the subject matter in the frame, then a slow and gentle fade-to-black. It doesn't need to be exactly that but a more concerted and softer ending both conceptually and formally.
Very excited to see this in a week. Great work overall with this!
