Hello! I'm going to be illustrating the poem Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe. So far this is 'In a kingdom by the sea' and 'Annabel Lee.' I have been using gouache so far.
From Seth-- I love this story. Have you ever listened to the Nick Cave version? My main suggestion is to use value theory and color theory to create mood. This story has a deeply psychological undercurrent that could be translated visually in inventive ways. Great compositions so far. You also may want to incorporate more secondary points of emphasis. Looking forward to seeing this move forward!
